One of my unforgettable learning experiences include the skills laboratory and return demonstration. Back when I was a student, I remembered that we had to demonstrate many nursing skills to our respective partners. It made me realize that we would truly be dealing with real life patients and that performing the procedures amongst ourselves put things into perspective. Prior to our clinical duties, doing a return demonstration and skills laboratory provided a safe environment for me that lessen the pressure and helped me realize that mistakes can be made and there was still room for improvement. This also prepared me on actual patient care and real-life nursing situations by boosting our self-confidence and improving our readiness
