  1. Muscle: Platysma muscle
    1. Origin: It originates at the Suprascapular and Infraclavicular Subcutaneous Tissue
    2. Insertion: Inserts at the base of the Mandible
    3. Action: Depresses the Mandible and draws corners of the mouth down  to form the facial expression of grimace; tense skin of lower face and neck to express stress.
  2. Muscle: Mentalis
    1. Origin: Originated at the Alveolar Processes of the Mandibula
    2. Insertion: It inserts at the Skin of the chin
    3. Action: They contract and pull the skin upwards forming the face of doubt
  3. Muscle: Orbicularis oris muscle consists of Marginal Part and Labial Part
    1. Origin: Originates underneath the skin of the mouth or the oral opening
    2. Insertion: It inserts at the corner and outer layer of the skin of the mouth
    3. Action: They protrude the mouth forming a kissing face and also closing the mouth.
  4. Muscle: Corrugator Supercilli 
    1. Origin: Corrugator Supercilli originated at the Glabella, Supraorbital margin
    2. Insertion: Corrugator Supercilli inserts in the Skin of eyebrow
    3. Action: Pulls the eyebrow medially and inferiorly and forms vertical lines above the root of the nose forming the facial expression of frowning and pain.
  5. Muscle: Orbicularis oculi muscle consists of Orbital Part, Palpebral Part, and Lacrimal Part
    1. Origin: Orbital Part originated at the Medial Palpebral Ligament, Palpebral Part originated at the Medial Palpebral Ligament, the Lacrimal Part originates in the Lacrimal Bone
    2. Insertion: Orbital Part inserts also in the Medial Palpebral Ligament, Palpebral Part inserts at the Lateral Palpebral Ligament, the Lacrimal Part inserts at the Lacrimal Sac
    3. Action: Firmly closing the eyelids, creating wrinkles extending outwards from the lateral angle of the eye; tears are produced and also flow in the area
  6. Muscle: Occipitofrontal muscle consists of Occipital Belly and Frontal Belly
    1. Origin: The Occipital Belly originated from the Highest Nuchal Line (Occipital Bone) and Frontal Belly originated at the Epicranial Aponeurosis.
    2. Insertion: The Occipital Bell inserts at the Epicranial Aponeurosis and Frontal Belly inserts at the Skin of eyebrows.
    3. Action: Pulling the skin of the forehead upward forming horizontal lines in the forehead
