  1. Briefly describe the process of inflammation in an area that has been traumatized.
A traumatized region may swell, hurt, or turn red as these are indications of inflammation. The process of inflammation occurs through vascular response, cellular response, and tissue repair and regeneration. It starts when there is an increase in vascular permeability and blood flow to the inflammatory region as a result of the traumatized site's vasodilation. Moreover, white blood cells react and start to gather at the location. Finally, preparation for the repair or healing site takes place after these cells' phagocytic activity as well as pus formation.

  1. Choose one type of Immunity (Innate and Humoral) and explain how its mechanism protects our body.
Immunological responses involving the binding of antigens and antibodies present in the body's humors (blood or lymph) are referred to as humoral immunity or antibody-mediated immunity. The B cells that make these circulating antibodies defend against external pathogens that might infect the body with viruses or bacteria by phagocytosing them or by complementing the innate immune system's abilities to combat them.
