The cranial nerves affected are: 

  • Cannot move muscles on right side of face  - Facial (Cranial Nerve VII)
  • Loss of taste - Facial (Cranial Nerve VII), Glossopharyngeal (Cranial Nerve IX), and Vagus (Cranial Nerve X)
  • Dry mouth - Facial (Cranial Nerve VII) and Glossopharyngeal (Cranial Nerve IX)
  • Cannot close right eye - Oculomotor (Cranial Nerve III) and Facial (Cranial Nerve VII)
