Clinical assessment prepares the students for future tasks or even a job that can be their source of living. Students with practicum or internship rotations make them master an area of their interest or a special unit in the clinical setting. The skills and learnings that they will learn become valuable assessment methods, especially on an individual basis. Assessment must be individualized as learners demonstrate varied competencies and skillsets unique to each learner and the attainment of competencies are not equal among them. In the case of the interns, peer evaluation can also be done as part of the assessment methods. The assessment tool itself should also be concise and should assess all competencies (knowledge, skills, and attitude) of the individual learner.
