1. Briefly describe the process of inflammation in an area that has been traumatized.
After an area has been traumatized, the blood vessels in that area vasodilate and release mediators. Next, phagocytes emigrate from the blood vessels to the area traumatized and do their functions until they die. Lastly, tissue repair finally begins.

2. Choose one type of Immunity (Innate and Humoral) and explain how its mechanism protects our body.
Humoral immunity mainly deals with pathogens found in body fluids outside the cells. It deals with these pathogens through the use of B cells that release antibodies. These antibodies are useful in neutralizing antigens, immobilizing bacteria, activating complement, enhancing phagocytosis, and agglutinating and precipitating antigen.
