Taking into account the following conditions, Patient X may currently be experiencing a type of disorder known as Bell’s palsy wherein the 7th cranial nerve (right facial nerve) which is located from the brainstem extending to the openings of the skull, face, and tongue has been damaged. As a result, the patient's abilities such as the skeletal muscle contraction on the right side of the face, and secretion of saliva by the salivary gland among others have been compromised.
