The symptoms the patient has been dealing with was due to the condition called “Bell’s Palsy” which is caused by the dysfunction of the cranial nerve VII or the facial nerve. Damage to this nerve paralyzes one side of the face which causes the inability of patients to move the eye of the paralyzed side and even lose sense of taste and dryness of mouth.
