1. The perceived “yellow bone” in the video displays the sphenoid bone which is centrally located and joins with most of the other bones of the skull.

a)     Intramembranous Ossification – formation of flat bones in the skull, most of the facial bones, mandible, and the medial part of the clavicle

b)    Endochondral Ossification – formation of long bones of axial and appendicular skeleton

3. The synovial joints described in the video are the following: ball-and-socket joint from the shoulders, hinge joint from the knees, pivot joint from the neck, condyloid joint from the wrist, saddle joint from the fingers, and gliding joint from the vertebrae

4. The ball-and-socket joint allows for the widest ranges of motion.
