- Among all the concepts discussed, the Integumantary System is what I gained the most interest in. Comparing the skin to every other organs in our body, skin is more exposed to infections, diseases, and injuries. Without the skin, there would be no protective barrier against damages from trauma, sunlight, microbes, and environment pollutants. Through the integumentary system discussion, I was able recognize more of how our skin undergo so much everyday just for us to be protected.
