Choose one concept in our lesson today, give a brief explanation about the concept and cite how this learning can be applied in your daily life.

The function of nails on our body is one of the concepts that struck me. I learned that nails serve more than only scratching and grooming our bodies. Nails help safeguard the distal end of our digits and provide support and counterpressure to the palmar surface of our fingers, which improves touch perception and manipulation.

I can use this in my daily life by realizing that nails are far more significant than I previously imagined. This will help me take better care of my nails by keeping them dry and clean and trimming them to the proper length with a nail cutter. I'm also not going to bite it or pull the hangnails. With this, my body will be able to utilize my nails far more efficiently.
