  What are the two mechanisms by which the bones of the body are formed and which bones are formed by each mechanism?
The two mechanisms are Intramembranous ossification and Endochondral ossification. Intramembranous ossification forms most of the bones in the skull, such as its flat bones, clavicle, and other cranial bones. On the other hand, Endochondral ossification forms the rest of the skeletal bones in the body.
