One concept that I learned today would be the process of wound healing, specifically deep wound healing. This is the process wherein multiple layers of tissue are to be repaired and this consists of 4 phases: Inflammatory, Migratory, Proliferative, and Maturation. We are taught the different stages of a wound's healing and this may also serve as a reminder not to peel scabs for wounds to heal naturally.
