What is the importance of studying organs or the body at different planes and sections?

The body is divided into sections using hypothetical geometric planes called "body planes." They are frequently used in both animal and human anatomy to describe the placement or orientation of body structures. Planning a surgical procedure requires a thorough understanding of body planes. The anatomical areas (and quadrants) of the abdomen must be understood in order to relate the discomfort to the organs that are located in each location. Consider the stomach, liver, pancreas, duodenum, and adrenal glands, for instance, if you experience pain in the epigastric area.
