What is the importance of studying organs or the body at different planes and sections?
-
It is very essential to study the various anatomical planes and sections of the body because these can give us different points of view, not just from a two-dimensional perspective where our visualizations are limited. By using planes and sections in studying the anatomy of a particular organ, we are able to gain a better comprehension of where it is specifically located in the body. This is especially important in nursing whenever there are situations where we need to identify a patient’s health complication and what particular organs are involved.
