One example of a positive feedback mechanism is the secretion of breastmilk. When a baby sucks its mother’s breast, oxytocin is secreted into the mother’s blood which leads to more production of milk. On the other hand, negative feedback mechanism is evident when the human body adjusts with temperature changes. If the temperature drops, the body shivers to raise the temperature and if it is too warm, sweats are excreted to cool our body down.
