For negative feedback, an example of a disturbance that can act as a stimulus to a feedback mechanism is those who are maintaining normal blood pressure. Since, normal blood pressure is critical to our health, it concerns helping to move the blood from the heart to tissues. On the other hand, for positive feedback, a chemical responsible for blood clot formation, thrombin, stimulates production of more thrombin during blood loss.
