Give other examples of disturbances in the internal environment that can act as a stimulus.

An example of disturbances in the internal environment that act as stimulus is when a part of our body is wounded or afflicted, the body releases chemicals that activate the platelets. This type of blood is responsible for forming clots, which helps stop the bleeding. Additionally, diabetes occurs when there is a broken feedback loop that involves the insulin hormone. Hunger and thirst can also be examples of internal environments that cause disturbances.
