  2. Which organ systems function to regulate acid-base balance in body fluid?

-        There are three organ systems that regulate acid-base balance in body fluid. The first system is the urinary system, wherein the kidneys reabsorb bicarbonate then releasing them in the form of urine. The next system in charge is the respiratory system. They adjust our body’s pH levels by using carbon dioxide. The last system in charge is the circulatory system. This system helps carries carbon dioxide to the lungs for them to be exhaled and replaced into oxygen to prevent our blood pH to decrease.
