  1. Elbow and shoulder = The elbow is DISTAL from the shoulder. 

  2. left and right shoulders = The left shoulder is CONTRALATERAL to the right shoulder. 

  3. Sternum and the humerus = The sternum is MEDIAL to the humerus. 

  4. Heart and the Diaphragm = The heart is SUPERIOR to the diaphragm.

  5. Knees and tibia = The knees are PROXIMAL to the tibia.

  6. Liver and gallbladders = The liver is SUPERIOR to the gallbladders.

  7. Spleen and liver = The spleen and liver are CONTRALATERAL with each other.

  8. Kidneys and small intestines = The kidneys are POSTERIOR with the small intestines. 

  9. 3rd and 5th digits = The 3rd and 5th digits in our hands are LATERALS to each other.
