“Good Nutrition is a foundation of a child’s survival, health, and development”.
What are your insights on this quote?
Generally speaking, having good nutrition is essential for good health and well-being regardless of age. For children, it serves as their bedrock for survival and development. Being well-nourished makes them better able to grow, learn, and play, as well as participate in their communities. It also makes them resilient in times of crisis. Adequate nutrition during infancy and early childhood ensures growth and development to their full potential. Having early nutritional deficits are linked to long-term impairment in growth and health such as stunting, impaired intellectual performance, or reduced capacity for physical work.
