I agree with this quote. Living in a developing country, we are often witnesses of the adverse effects of children growing with nutritional needs, and it is indeed that malnutrition is very rampant in our country. 

Malnutrition prevents or slows the children from reaching their full physical and mental potential.  Health and physical consequences of prolonged states of malnourishment among children are: delay in their physical growth and motor development; lower intellectual quotient (IQ), greater behavioral problems and deficient social skills; and susceptibility to contracting diseases.
