When the mother provides herself with good nutrition and the appropriate kind and type of food, the baby could receive adequate amount of nutrients which allows the conditions necessary to support their growth and development to be satisfied. From the nutrients that a person receive, the body is equipped with the required needs for the body processes to take place. Hence, good nutrition paves the way for the enhancement of physical structures such as the muscles, bones, and the functions of different organ systems in the body. Ultimately, good nutrition leads to optimal health outcome as it could also improve one’s immune system or the ability of the body to prevent itself from different kinds of diseases.
