Doc, based on the images of the cardiac monitors used in the quiz po, how do you differentiate supraventricular tachycardia from sinus tachycardia? The two images of the cardiac monitors looked similar po, and in my first attempt, I interchanged the two answers (but corrected it na po in my second attempt). Thank you po!
Hi, Anna! In high heart rates, >150bpm, look for the P waves. In SVT, the P waves are absent or unidentifiable. In sinus tachycardia, you may still discern the P wave even if it can be quite close to the T wave.
