Dear Phar 125 Students:
For the long examination:
Either work on financial statement analysis or case reports.
If you chose to take the long exam by performing financial analysis of a financial statement. Submit a financial report of a company from annual corporate report or from other sources. You should be able to perform a comprehensive financial analysis of the company by computing for their measures of performance by ratio analysis or by use of common statements (vertical and horizontal analysis). After computing/preparing the analysis, you should be able to interpret the results and make relevant conclusion about the company's performance. You can use relevant bits of information about the company in your report. But first you should have the financial report you will analyze to be check and approved. NO changes allowed upon approval of the financial statement to report.
If you chose to submit a case analysis, I can provide the case study to analyze and report in the format we used for case presentations.
You will be given 48 hours to submit your long exam requirement (for both the financial report and case report) upon approval to the VLE of Phar 125.
