Google Workspace Training for UPM Employees 2023

Objective: To be able to create a document of Google Docs format from out of non-formatted text.

Instructions:

1. This assignment must be done using a computer desktop or laptop.
2. Download the attached file. It contains some information about the University of the Philippines Manila.
3. Create a new Google Docs document.
4. Encode the text from the attached file into the Google Docs document you've just created.
5. Format the text accordingly, so that it becomes easy to read. Use the appropriate paragraph and font styles. Add other elements, if you like.
6. Do not edit the text, just format it.
7. Once you're done with the document, make a screenshot of it, making sure that:
   • The entire width of the window is captured, and
   • Both the upper part of the window (showing the document title and your profile image) and the content are captured.
8. See the attached sample screenshot of a Google Docs document for your guidance.
9. Submit the screenshot.
