Unit V. Clinical Practicum & Fieldwork
Dear N226.3 students,
We are now gearing up for your clinical observation and clinical teaching! We are excited for you to go through these activities with you. READ the following important reminders:
- Wear your long clinical coats with IDs during rotations. Wear comfortable shoes.
- Wear KN95 mask inside hospital premises.
- Make sure to be on time. Be in the unit 15 minutes before the call time of our student nurses. Student nurses' call time for OBAS, Wards 9 and 11 is 6AM, UP-Creche and OPD-OB is 7AM.
Other activities that you need TO DO BEFORE going to the clinical areas:
- The course guides/syllabi for your assigned units will be given to you. Review them before going to the area so that you can prepare for your observation and clinical teaching.
- To further maximize your learning during our first day, accomplish ACTIVITY GUIDE # 5. Note: This should be done BEFORE going to the clinical areas on Tuesday.
