As such protection from harassment of any kind is provided by the Anti-sexual Harassment Act (RA7877), and expanded by the Safe Spaces Act (RA11313)

Under the Revised Penal Code, certain acts of harassment may fall under crimes like unjust vexation, grave threats, or acts of lasciviousness. Unjust vexation pertains to any act that irritates, annoys, or disturbs a person without lawful or justifiable reason, which could encompass non-physical forms of harassment.

There are 9 grounds for harassment. These are, Gender, Civil Status, Family status, Sexual orientation, religious belief, Age, Disability, race ( color, nationality or ethnicity), and membership of the traveler community.
