      Welcome to the IFDP Course on Values, Ethics, Gender Sensitivity and Professionalism!  This module is being handled by the Social Medicine Unit.

      The objectives of this course are as follows:

      1. Clarify and integrate individual and institutional values
      2. Adopt culturally appropriate and gender sensitive approaches
      3. Identify dilemmas and utilize ethical principles in their resolution
      4. Undertake measures to promote patient privacy and safety

      The course site will be available until 28 February 2025.  To receive a passing mark and a completion certificate, you must watch all lectures, submit the requirements as specified and accomplish the course evaluation form.
