Section outline

In this topic, we will examine the principles and basis for genetic risk estimation from looking at empiric risks and recurrence risks based on Mendelian inheritance. We will also look at modified risks and some applications. Specifically, we will study the use of Bayesian analysis that can inform us of modified risks given certain conditions in our clients and their families.
