PAIN ROTATION MODULES, PROTOCOLS, AND GUIDELINES

This course is a compilation of Modules, Protocols, and Guidelines prepared by the Division of Pain.

This course is intended for trainees (Anesthesiology Residents, Fellows, and Pain Rotators) who are under the Division of Pain during their clinical rotation.

This course can also serve as reference for Consultants, Guests, and Students of the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital.

Anesthesiology 220: Anesthesia in Action (iTuro)

Anesthesia 220 is an elective course offered to eight students in Learning Unit 4. The course involves weekly online lectures and videos, and in-classroom small group discussions for six weeks. Afterward, the group will have weekly tours and exposure in the different areas where anesthesia is served including the operating rooms located in the right and left central blocks, at the fourth and sixth floors, at SOJR and in the outpatient building. The students will also see observe in the postanesthesia care unit and in the pain clinic.
