Metabolism is not just a breaking down process, it also includes building up. In this session, we start with how carbohydrates are synthesized for structural, storage, and homeostatic components. Through this module, you should be able to:

    • discuss the pathways leading to the synthesis of glucans and glucose

The following are your tasks for this session:Β 

  1. Go through the Carbohydrate Anabolism lesson. Answer the embedded questions in the lesson.
  2. Individually, answer the practice questions on Carbohydrate Metabolism.
