- Collaborative Practice / IPE Session 03 w/ Local Town Preceptors
📣 Now that you (the FCH 260.2 intern-learner) have already experienced working and interacting with both our MAGNAMARTE HCW (professional/non-professional) and Community partners for a couple (or more) duties/activities, here are the details/instructions for the Collaborative Practice/IPE Session 03:
🎗 Collaborative Practice (IPE) session 03 is basically a series of HCW interviews that you and your townmates will be conducting to come up with what are essentially HCW case studies/reports that will help you appreciate deeper the value of collaborative practice for community health and development. These are conducted as a follow up to your 2 previous sessions w/ Dr. Richa. :) For Phase 01, the processing of the exercise is per sub block/town c/o your Preceptor-CO team. As mentioned in the orientation, the town team is to find the best time to do so within the period of deployment.
☝🏾 The activity will be done PER TOWN/SUB-BLOCK (each town/sub-block have their own sessions). The HCWs to interview are per sub block/town too. :) The 2-3 slide presentation (PPT) is what will be discussed in the town but the 2-3 page case study document will still be submitted to Doc Richa as per her instructions (along with a copy the town's slides).

🎗 Please check out the instructions in the document. The "appendix" that is included is the case/scenario. It is to be used as the anchor for the assignment/work. The part of the instructions labeled #s 6 and 7, are modified as follows:
6) Prepare a 3-slide presentation of the case study results. This will be presented to your Town preceptor and CO for discussion and processing.
7) Prepare a 2-page case study written report to be submitted to Dr. Louricha Opina-Tan as instructed and your Town preceptor and CO at the end of the rotation.
☝🏾Date and Time for the reporting will depend on your town-preceptor/CO team in consideration of all your scheduled activities in the town. :) Please coordinate with your town-preceptor/CO Usually the reporting/processing happens on Day 19 or 20 of your rotation.
☝🏾 As LO/sub block or town leader, please take charge of assigning HCWs to interview and dividing your block into pairs (as applicable) for the assignment. :) Make sure to interview DIFFERENT HCWs, both formal and informal to get different perspectives. :) Historically, the following have been the interviewees (but you may identify other stakeholders/people in the barangay as applicable and available):
