Background
You are tasked with looking for a unique enzyme that can be useful for industrial applications. The way you went about this is to isolate the metagenome from aquatic sources and sequenced them. When the sequences were analyzed using bioinformatics, open reading frames (i.e. sequences that start with ATG) were tagged as potentially encoding for useful enzymes.
