Hello to everyone in our N110 course! I am Candice Dawn E. Sibug, Candice or Can for short. I’m excited for this course, especially after witnessing firsthand how disasters, specifically fire, impact our community during our N119 fieldwork in Isla Puting Bato. Although we lacked full competency in disaster nursing at the time, our group faced the challenge head-on to help meet the community’s needs. Through this course, I hope to strengthen my knowledge and skills in emergency response. My personal goal is to become a competent and compassionate nurse who can provide timely, appropriate care in both hospital and disaster settings.
