Good day, everyone. I am G-ian Meg Sawit and you can call me G. The Philippines is highly prone to disasters due to its geography and as future nurses that may one day serve in locations that are stricken by disasters, being equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide care in those instances will be important. By taking this course, I expect that I could gain the knowledge and skills needed to be competent in times of need. Personally, my hometown is prone to typhoons and I hope that with the things I learn in the course, I could someday help my hometown in improving disaster risk reduction and management.
