Hi, everyone! I am Diana May M. Rivera, but you can simply call me Diana. Through this course, I hope to develop both the knowledge and practical skills needed for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. I am eager to learn and gain an understanding of the roles nurses play in disaster risk reduction and management, especially in working with communities. Given how often natural disasters occur in our country, my personal goal is to become better equipped to respond effectively to emergencies and contribute meaningfully to protecting public health and supporting affected individuals and/or communities.
