Hello, everyone! I am Kynier Fababier, an incoming 4th-year student; you can call me Ky. I am truly ecstatic to have reached this point.
Growing up in a lowland town in our province, we have always been a hotspot for the devastating effects of disasters, such as floods and landslides. Because of this, I am really thrilled to take on N100 as a course. One of my personal goals and drives in pursuing nursing is to be equipped to handle emergency situations during disasters—to be someone my townspeople can rely on when unfortunate events happen.
With this, I expect this course to be centered on teaching us the necessary critical knowledge, thinking, and other skills in managing emergency situations, triage events, and resourcefulness amidst disasters. I would be thrilled to experience various laboratory simulations and hands-on lessons in disaster nursing. Excited to work with you all!
