    1. Frontalis - raising the eyebrows and wrinkling the skin on the forehead

    2. orbicularis oculi - closes the eyelids and assists in pumping the tears from the eye into the nasolacrimal duct system

    3. orbicularis oris - control the shape and movements of the lips

    4. Buccinator - maintains the tightness of the cheeks and presses them against the teeth during chewing

    5. Platysma - pulling down the mandible, which opens the mouth, and pulling the corners of the lips out to the side and down, which forms a frown

  2. Describe the mechanism of his muscle weakness. The facial nerve that controls the facial muscles gets inflamed and swollen which causes its compression along this narrow segment of the fallopian canal
