      1. Inserts to the skin of the eyebrow and medial forehead

    3. Action

      1. Involved in frowning; it wrinkles the forehead and draws the eyebrow inferiorly

  5. Orbicularis Oculi

    1. Origin

      1. Originates from the medial wall of the orbit

      2. Originates from the medial orbital margin and lacrimal sac

    2. Insertion

      1. Inserts to the circular path around the orbit

      2. Inserts to the lateral palpebral raphe

    3. Action

      1. Closes the eye and eyelids, and aids the passage of tears

  6. Frontal Belly

    1. Origin

      1. Originates from the epicranial aponeurosis

    2. Insertion

      1. Inserts to the skin superior to the supraorbital margin

    3. Action

      1. As seen in the image, this muscle is involved in raising the eyebrows and wrinkling the forehead. In addition, it also draws the scalp anteriorly
