1. Parasympathetic nervous system is the one responsible for the body’s after-dinner activities. The organs involved are the stomach, kidneys, liver, pancreas, and intestines which are innervated by the vagus (X) nerve. Depending on the body’s needs, the nervous system will act on a certain pathway that will determine the actions the organs will perform.
2. These are the fight or flight response of the body that was stimulated by the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system carries signals to release hormones to provide energy to increase organ function.
