Facial nerve (VII)
- The sensory axons of facial nerve are from the taste buds of the anterior two-thirds of the tongue. Hence, damage to this nerve cause loss of taste and dry mouth.
- Orbicularis oculi muscles, which close the eyes, and muscles on the face are innervated by facial nerve = cannot close her right eye, cannot move the muscles on the right side of her face
