2. Intramembranous ossification forms the flat bones in the skull, clavicle, and cranium. Endochondral ossification on the other hand occurs in the other bones of the body where hyaline cartilage is replaced with bone.

      4. The ball and socket joints allow the greatest range of motion among all the synovial joint types
