As a person who doesn't really take care of her hair as much as other people do, I realized the importance of the functions of hair in our bodies. I learned that hair protects our scalp from injury and the sun's rays. And thus, therefore, protecting us from further damage to our skin. It also helps us provide warmth to our bodies. It is so easy to damage your hair by exposing it to too much heat and applying different chemicals to make it look better. However, I realized that keeping your hair healthy holds great importance because it serves a purpose in maintaining balance in our body and keeping us safe from harmful damage from our environment.
