ACTIVITY 2

1. What are the organs that constitute each of the organ-systems above? 

Integumentary System - skin, hair, nails, sweat glands, and oil glands  

Skeletal System - bones, cartilage, and joints

Muscular System - skeletal muscle (smooth muscle cardiac muscle), tendons

Nervous System - brain, spinal cord, nerves, and special sense organs such as eyes and ears.

Endocrine System - pineal gland, hypothalamus, pituitary gland, thymus, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, pancreas, ovaries, and testes.

Cardiovascular System - heart, veins, arteries, capillaries , and blood.

Lymphatic System - Lymphatic fluid and vessels; spleen, thymus, lymph nodes, and tonsils; cells that carry out immune responses (B cells, T cells, and others).

Respiratory System - lungs, nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, and bronchi. 

Digestive System - mouth, salivary gland pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and anus.

Urinary System - kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra

Reproductive system- Gonads (testes in males and ovaries in females), uterine tubes, uterus, vagina, and mammary glands in females and epididymides, ductus deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate, and penis in males.
