a. Elbow and shoulder: The elbow is DISTAL to the shoulder. The shoulder is PROXIMAL to the elbow.

b. left and right shoulders: The left shoulder is CONTRALATERAL to the right shoulder. 

c. Sternum and the humerus: The sternum is MEDIAL to the humerus. The humerus is LATERAL to the sternum.

d. Heart and the Diaphragm: The heart is SUPERIOR to the diaphragm. The diaphragm is INFERIOR to the heart.

e. Knees and tibia:  The knees are PROXIMAL to the tibia. The tibia is DISTAL to the knees.

f. Liver and gallbladders: The liver is ANTERIOR to the gallbladder. The gallbladder is POSTERIOR to the liver.
