a. Elbow and shoulder: 

- the elbow is distal to the shoulder

b. left and right shoulders

- the left and right shoulders are contralateral

c. Sternum and the humerus

- the sternum is medial to the humerus

d. Heart and the Diaphragm

- the heart is superior to the diaphragm

e. Knees and tibia
