There is only one driving question per week. The questions in the study guide are meant to guide you while you are reading the assigned resources for the week. Answering the guide questions should help you process the reading material and put you on the path to being able to answer the driving question.
The driving question for this week was: How can health informatics expertise help the Philippines attain universal healthcare?
The driving question is the penultimate question. Before that, there may be directed and open-ended questions.
So for this week, the directed questions were:
1. Define health informatics.
2. Enumerate the competencies expected of a health informatics professional.
The answers to these is in the journal article I asked you to read.
The open-ended question was: What is the role of health informatics in achieving universal healthcare? To answer this question, you had to read the UHC IRR. Section 36 is where health informatics expertise will be needed. But as you come from different backgrounds, how can YOU specifically help the Department of Health.
I hope this helps you understand our process better, as this is the same process weekly though the questions differ.
