An introduction to the occupational therapy (OT) process, documentation, use of common OT tools, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice in relation to OT practice.

This course endeavors to develop in the student the core values of integrity, excellence, service and resourcefulness. Through laying the groundwork for common OT tools, clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, teaching-learning and use of groups, the student will be able to undertake enriched learning and appreciation of the OT process and the different means that a therapist can be of service to the client.

At the end of this course, students will discuss the processes involved in the delivery of occupational therapy services, and perform the teaching-learning process to an individual or a group.
