Nursing 260 is the foundational course for the Adult Health Nursing (AHN) Specialty Track under the Master of Science in Nursing Program (Approved; UP Board of Regents 20 August 2024). As a developing Advanced Practice Nurse, you are expected to demonstrate competence in the comprehensive care of adult patients across healthcare settings. To achieve this, you will engage in didactic, simulated, and actual clinical activities in performing assessments, applying the best evidence in developing plans of care, and providing nurse-led and collaborative management.
This is a 3-unit course with 0.5 credits for practicum and 2.5 credits for classroom and simulation laboratory activities. The module-guided teaching-learning activities are delivered through a hybrid approach that culminates in a clinical practicum.
